Finalizing Client Setup on the Portal

This tutorial guides you through the process of finalizing the setup of a new client on the client portal.

Begin by navigating to the Admin Options menu and then select CRM.

If the new client provided an associate to be added, you will need to do this manually.


To do this, scroll up to click on Add New Contact. Ensure that you are in the Contacts section of the CRM to avoid confusion with company additions.

Input the contact's First Name, Last Name and email address. Additionally, select the Associated Company, and choose the Associated Podcast.

After entering the details, click Save.

Next, navigate to the Project Templates section and locate the template for their podcast. This template should already have a task added for each of their choses services.

However,before you can assign the tasks, you need to assign team members to the podcast. Go to the CRM and then the Team Members section.

Select a project manager, in this case, Brittany. Edit her profile to associate her with the client's podcast and click Save.

Next, select the editor, Mike, and follow the same steps to associate him with the podcast.

Finally, return to the Project Templates section to assign each task to the proper team member. Once completed, click Save.

By following these steps, you have successfully finalized the setup of the new client on the portal and prepared their project template for future tasks.
